Forest Dunes Golf Club now offers Cross Country Skiing. Winding through the peaceful hardwoods of its 1200 acre wooded property, Forest Dunes offers three ski trails: the 3K(Red Trail) the 5K (Green Trail) and the more challenging 7K (Black Trail). All of our trails are family friendly, though seasoned skiers out for a bit of a challenge will not be disappointed. Those who choose the Black Trail will be rewarded with a stop at our Warming Hut where you will be welcomed by a roaring fire, a chance to rest in a comfortable chair and enjoy a steaming mug of hot chocolate, coffee, and a warm snack. We also offer a groomed snowshoe trail through the scenic forests and fields of one of the nations finest golf courses, nestled below a sparkling blanket of pure Northern Michigan powder. Snowshoe enthusiasts are also invited to enjoy our Warming Hut to ease off the winter chill and savor the tasty treats.
